I know its a Tuesday, hence the word delayed in front of the title. Was in Singapore so did not manage to post my usual Monday Movie Review. Judging at the Darkmoon Faire in Singapore meant I only had time to catch one movie over the weekend. The movie?
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
As sequels go, one word describes Night at the Musuem 2 – uninspiring. While the first movie was a novel idea and largely satisfied our imagination of museum relics coming to live, the second just went with the same route but with a missing plot.
It seems the director thought that by throwing in more and more things coming to live, the movie will sell itself. Too bad that isn’t true. You will probably be yawning even before the halfway mark of the movie. Sure enough, we have Abe Lincoln, a giant octopus, some Sesame Street character, Al Capone and even Darth Vader coming to live but that is all.
It is just more, bigger stuff coming to live and that does not hold your attention for even five minutes. If you think you enjoy watching various things come to live, by all means go ahead. If you are looking to be entertained, stay away.

It‘s quiet in here! Why not leave a response?
