Putrajaya Bridge

It has been a while since I went to Putrajaya to take any pictures but going through my archives, I found those that I have taken while I was still holding the D300. Looking back, it is funny that most of my pictures had the wrong horizon line!

Fish eyed

One thing for sure is that I definitely love the fisheye lens a lot last time. I still do and I plan to have it when my finances permit me to do so. While it can be overdone, I think that it is still a very fun lens to use, especially when you are traveling.

Putrajaya Mosque

As you can see, the shots are slanted so it feels like Putrajaya is tilted. This Putrajaya series is also one where I dabbled the most in HDR and you can see some ghosting in the shots where I had humans moving. I think I had a HDR bug then and almost all my shots were HDRed.

Putrajaya Prime Minister Office

Of course, it helped that I discovered the awesomeness and simplicity of one shot HDR. While it is not as visually appealing as multi-shot HDR, I find that it is good enough for me. And no more ghosting problem!

Maybe it is time I return to Putrajaya. Maybe it won’t be tilted this time around.

nice shots! never tried mata ikan before, but looking at pictures i think it’s a really fun lens to use if you don’t mind all the distortions and weird curvings :D

i’ve never tried putrajaya too in a very long time. i wonder if it’s a better time to go during morning or sunset to get nice lighting hmm

@meendee Hehe the weird curving is the reason its so fun! :P I think you will get different lighting for both. But for now, I recommend sunset. No need wake up so early :P
