Its been two weeks since I did a Monday Movie Review and well, I managed to catch some movies. Its a good time to be bringing your kids (if you have them) to the cinemas as you can catch two family-friendly movies on the big screen. The first being Up, a Pixar animation about an old man who floats his house on balloons all the way to South America.
Tagging along, is a small boy, and along the way they pick up a giant bird and a talking dog.
Yes, it sound ridiculous when you put it that way but in the end, its another excellent movie from Pixar. Its funny, its touching (at times) and the pacing is just right. It is good to know that the movie industry can still deliver something really good, even if its animated.
If you are a big Pixar fan, then this one will make you proud that you are a fan. If you are not a fan, this will still be one enjoyable movie.

Next up, is a movie about a family and their summer vacation and they discovered aliens in the attic! Well, more like the aliens landed on the roof and they later climbed into the attic. I saw the poster and saw no names at all. No star power? That’s weird. I thought Ashley Tisdale would be able to move some tickets.
Anyway, the movie is fairly enjoyable and I heard a few kids laughing and chatting excitedly after the movie so its definitely one made for them. I enjoyed it although the lead character in the movie seems to have only 2 expressions throughout the whole movie. One is the expression you see in the poster, and the other a slight revision of it.
Other than that, there were some funny moments and Ricky (the character) is very well-done. Good job to the actor – I have no idea who he is but he does look vaguely familiar. So yes, if you are into kiddie movies, then Aliens in the Attic is one for you to catch.

ricky is the step up 2 guy. URBAN NINJA!
btw i think you’re missing an adjective or description in your comment box ” it’s quite in here ”
….either that or it’s ‘quiet’ typo. bwehehhehe
