There seems to be a whole lot of romantic comedy scheduled to be out this year and this is probably like my third or fourth within a course of two months. With Killers and Knight & Day, one wonders if suddenly everyone decides to go with the theme of spy/killer paired up with girl who can’t shoot.
Was rather busy over the weekend so I only got to watch one movie, and that was Killers.
I am not a big fan of Katherine Heigl and not exactly a big fan of Ashton Kutcher but the trailer looked funny enough to warrant a ticket purchase. All I can say is that the girls will probably love the movie because Ashton is quite the eye candy eh? No wonder Demi Moore decided to try and be young for him.
Other than that, the movie is predictable, the action scenes are alright and there are enough funny moments to keep someone entertained. The ending though was a bit rushed and I think there were one too many jokes about Tom Selleck’s mustache.
Was it better than The Bounty Hunter? Probably. Was it better than Letters to Juliet? Yes, because Ashton can act better than the other fella. Was it better than Sex and the City 2? Hell yes. Watching Katherine Heigl is better than watching a bunch of old ladies trying to be young.
If you are looking for a movie to watch with your date, then this might be one. Your other choice? Watching a giant CG dog.

ah, a man who watches “chick flick.” too bad you’re taken. =) grin.
