It was my first time submitting for the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) 16×20 Print Competition and I wasn’t expecting much. I just wanted to know where I stood among my peers and what benchmark I should set for myself this year.
So, it was a pleasant surprise when Louis Pang took a picture of one of my submissions that made it onto the WPPI Gallery, garnering an Award of Excellence, which is a small recognition of my work. It was still a pretty awesome way to start the day!
